Rosslyn woke up the next day to find herself in Jason's bed.She was in one of his T-shirts.She couldn't remember anything about yesterday.A few minutes later Jason walked in accompanied by their house help who's carrying a tray in her hands.On it was a cup of steaming coffee, toasted bread,a slice of pizza, berries on a pink bowl,two bananas and an apple.She placed them on the table and then headed out.

"Good morning wifey." Jason greeted her as he poured wine in a glass .

"Jason,where are my clothes?" She sprung out of bed ready to dress up and leave.

"I asked nanny to wash them."

"You what? Come on."

"Relax,don't tell me you want to leave after all that fun we had yesterday.It was the best day yet so far, looking forward for more in future."

"I don't remember a thing Jason.I really have to go home."

"How about you first have breakfast before it cools off."

She was hungry thus didn't hesitate.She sat down and started eating.

"What really happened yesterday?" She finally got to ask him.

"Nothing major,"He was smiling"You are really cute when drunk though."

Now she could remember it.. Jason had offered her a glass of champagne,then tequila,she intended to only drink  one glass then head home.After drinking it she couldn't remember what happened next.

"It's that glass of tequila you gave me later,it had something in it.Admit it."

"How can you think so lowly of me?"Jason made her feel guilty for accusing him."How is it my fault if you ain't an heavy drinker and one glass gets you carried away.It's some strong stuff though am not blaming you?"

Later when Rosslyn had left, Jason sat in his room thinking about what had really happened.He hadn't told her everything.He made love to her."She remembered nothing?"He wondered. Would she ever forgive him if she found out.He had found out that she had been a virgin and wanted to keep her forever.She was different from all girls he had slept with before.Thinking of the fact that no man had been inside her before made him feel good about spending his life with her.It all became vivid again as he lay there on his bed.He lived it all over again.

"Jason we can't do this."She had told him.

"We'll be married soon,why not?"

"Am still a virgin,I intend to remain so until I get married."

Jason never wanted her so bad as he did now on hearing this .He kissed her slowly caressing her tender body.She couldn't resist him either.She lost control and they were all in bed undressing each other,making love.

Later Jason had changed the sheets since they were all stained in blood.Jason still could not believe that she really had been a virgin.He smiled, feeling good and satisfied.

"Next time tell us if you intend to spend the night out dear."Belle told her when she got home."If Jess hadn't called to inform me you were at their place I'd have gone out looking out for you."

"Am sorry mom."She kissed her cheek and headed for her room. Her lower abdomen was aching.

"What really happened yesterday?"She kept on wondering.Her underwear was stained with spots of blood. "It can't be my periods,I had them last week."

She became worried.Faint memories of Jason making love to her started flashing in her mind."It can't be."She thought out loud.

She reached for her phone in her purse intending to  to call him.She was seated on her bed. There several missed calls from Larry and a voice note.She concluded she'd call him after speaking to Jason.

"Wifey, you already miss me I see."Jason spoke on the other end feeling rather happy that she had called him.

"Jason,I need to ask you something and better be honest."

"Okay."

"Did we do anything intimate last night?"

Jason went silent for a minute.When she called out his name he replied.

"We had several drinks,got carried away .Am sorry,I didn't know you were still a virgin."

Rosslyn couldn't believe her ears.It felt like a nightmare.This wasn't how she intended to lose her rose .She always fantasized that it would be something special and romantic.A night with scented candles lit, a beautiful bed spread with white sheets and roses spread all over and on them she'd give herself to her man.Such a twist.She hang up and lied on her bed for hours thinking on what to tell Larry.

"What if I got pregnant?"She couldn't help but wonder."I hope not."Later she went to a pharmacy store to get emergency contraceptive pills.She couldn't risk being pregnant.

Two weeks had passed since her encounter Jason.Mark,Lucas ,their wives and kids were home.They were attending her engagement party.She couldn't get out of it.She had tried telling her mother to talk to her father but didn't succeed.Jason had told her on phone that his father wouldn't hear any of it either.Their engagement was on.

She hadn't broke this news to her campus sweetheart.She didn't know how to.She would tell him when campus resumed.Rossyln felt as if her life was really messed up.She had thought of running away,but to where?She still depended on her father for allowance.She felt like a prisoner in her own home.Like a puppet that had no control over it's life only depending on it's master.

It was a weekend,Landau's home was well decorated with flowers and balloons from outside to inside.Children were running around playing with each other.Rosslyn looked down from her window and envied this young souls and their freedom.She wished to be 8years old again when her shoulders felt lighter.Memories of herself playing with her brothers came back to her.How they'd play hide and seek later they'd be running after butterflies.

"Dear,what are you thinking about that you didn't hear me calling you?"She snapped out of her thoughts,her mother was standing behind her with one arm on her shoulder.

"Oh, it's nothing mom."

"Good, better get ready then.Most of our guests have arrived and are asking where you are? It's your engagement party,cheer up." She said smiling

"Okay, let me leave so you'll get dressed."She left humming a hymn song.
